Blackbud es una banda de rock indie de Wiltshire, abarcando a Joe Taylor (guitarra, vocales), Adán Newton (bajo, coros) y a Sam Nadel (percusiones y coros).
Blackbud ha sido comparado con artistas tales como Jeff Buckley, Radiohead y Led Zeppelin, y ha complacido extensivamente, a las buenas críticas.
El el álbum From The Skydebutó el 31 de julio de 2006, mientras que su álbum homónimo, Blackbud fue lanzado el 8 de junio de 2009, con el sencillo You Can Run.

The band met at St Laurence School in their hometown of Bradford on Avon, Wiltshire. Having discovered they had the same musical interests, Taylor, Nadel, and Newton formed Blackbud in December 2002. The name, amongst many various interpretations, probably being derived from the bud of a plant/flower. Blackbud began as a covers band, and secured a residency at a local pub. They would mainly play sets comprising covers of songs by and Jimi Hendrix, Bob MarleyStevie Ray Vaughan. As time went on, Taylor began writing his own songs and three demo CDs were recorded during the band's first 18 months.
